Pat yourself on the back. We’ve made it through the first week of the challenge!
Was I perfect? Nope. It’s actually been kind of hard.
I now work long hours while trying to keep up with everything else that encompasses the job of a stay at home mom and homeschooler who cooks all of her family’s food, and my Superwoman cape seems to be broken or lost….or maybe that was just all a fantastic dream where I could keep a perfect house, a kitchen full of wonderful meals, and my sanity to go along with it. Yeah, pretty sure that was a dream.
How I Fared
I did good with cutting out all the take out meals we have eaten in the last 3 weeks and only had it once. I am shooting for cutting out all the non-healing foods again for my bank account’s health and mine.
Yoga only happened twice, but I think I was avoiding it because I didn’t like the videos. I found one within the yoga challenge that I love and finished the week off with a couple of sessions that felt amazing!
Taking my supplements has pretty much not been happening. I’m not sure why, but I just reaaaally don’t want anything but Vitamin D. I’m going with instinct and focusing on the herbal teas and kombucha instead.
Ginger kombucha = my new obsession. So yum.
Most of the items on my list didn’t happen as often as I wanted either, but I have made progress. Progress not perfection, right?
This week is slightly less busy, so I’m going to try writing down a realistic list of daily goals to accomplish and see how that helps out. Maybe a concrete list that I can cross of will help.
