We will collectively begin the Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) protocol on Monday, May 13.
That will give us 2 weeks to get any needed materials, do some food prep, and start the process of weeding out the foods that we will avoid during the healing process.
We will begin with the full GAPS Diet (click here for an overview of both the intro diet and full GAPS). It will give most of us the chance to remove the non-GAPS foods from our diets and transition more gently into the healing protocol.
He who fails to plan is planning to fail.

For the next 2 weeks, we will prep broth, veggies, and meals for the freezer, take wheat out of our diets, and gather everything we need. We’ll also try to make sure our houses are in good shape when we start for sanity reasons.
Begin by gathering your supplies. The only required material will be Gut and Psychology Syndrome by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride. It is the GAPS protocol and will outline and help you understand the process, the reasons behind it, and answer most of your questions.
All materials can either be purchased new or used, rented, donated, or borrowed.
Gut and Psychology Syndrome *Required – can also be purchased used, rented from library, or borrowed
GAPS Guide (currently unavailable but super helpful if you can find a copy; if you find a source that carries them, let us know in the comments!)
*These are the supplemental materials I will be using to keep me sane in the kitchen.
